Job Summary
If you love digging into a new brand and creating visual assets, we'd love to talk to you! This is an internal-facing role and you'd be responsible for all design work pertaining to Hawke Media's personal brand. Designers should have experience with storytelling, creating assets from scratch, and taking existing assets / aesthetics and appealing them to new mediums. This role would be responsible for leading and project managing a junior designer.
At Hawke, we're looking for a talented, eager senior graphic designer who specializes in digital ad design. Responsible for supporting all of our graphic design needs, we're seeking a driven, detail-oriented, intuitive-thinking individual to handle high volume design production. This individual will also work closely with the entire Internal Marketing Team, including our Experiential and Event Marketing Manager to assets for all of our Hawke events, executing social post design with the Social Media manager, and external communications design such as emails with our CRM Manager. You should be quick on your feet, great at communicating both internally and externally, have a keen eye for design.
Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Hawke Media Brand and ensure all assets are appropriately branded for all external and internal facing assets
  • Lead a small team of designers in conjunction with the broader internal team to ensure brand and creative alignment
  • Develop the look/feel of each of Hawke Media's key events and campaigns throughout the year
  • Create high-engaging static, dynamic and animated ads for a plethora of channels including social media, digital ads, partner ads, etc.
  • Create, templatize and maintain all sales enablement templates including case studies, 1 pagers, sales proposals, etc.
  • Consistently augment and update the Hawke Media brand and brand guidelines document to ensure consistent and optimal branding is achieved
  • Use your high level of creativity to constantly innovate
  • Successfully communicate with internal team members
  • Be comfortable working with multiple team members and deadlines


Job Skills

  • 5 - 7 years of relevant work experience with a portfolio provided on demand
  • Fluent in full Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Acrobat, etc.
  • Strategic thinking, prioritization skills, troubleshooting, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
  • Understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in copywriting, animation, and HTML5 is a plus (but not required)
  • Knowledge of design as it pertains to ad design; best practices for creating optimized and campaign focus digital ads and designing for the ad landscape
