The Role:

StackCommerce is looking to bring on an experienced, collaborative, and motivated designer to lead all visual projects across our business and consumer facing brands. As the Senior Design Lead, you’ll work closely with our copywriters, marketers, product managers, and leadership stakeholders, while managing our in-house team of designers. You are strategic and business-savvy, and have an eagle eye for elevated design. You are defined by your meticulous attention to detail, and are experienced in providing design feedback and guidance to create a consistent brand aesthetic across a variety of platforms. Responsibilities: 

• Manage the execution and delivery of a multitude of design projects simultaneously
• Provide design feedback and guidance to a team of on-site and outsourced designers
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and leadership
• Work with our copywriter to create strategic business presentation materials, including: decks, one-sheets, and case studies in Google Slides
• Brainstorm, develop, define, and update brands across all touch points
• Work closely with Product to redesign product pages and user flows
• Concept and design email marketing campaigns
• Optimize ads and marketing assets by creating strong visuals, gifs, and videos
• Concept brands for proprietary skus + design packaging and marketing assets

About You:

• Organized self-starter who can follow instructions and work independently with little direct supervision.
• Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite
• 5-7 years of experience as a graphic designer at an eCommerce or technology company (preferred)
• Experience in UX & UI preferred
• Experience creating videos and gifs
• Experience creating design assets for direct response marketing campaigns
• Experience retouching product and lifestyle photos for web
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and agencies
• Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a collaborative team player
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Positive attitude and ability to receive feedback constructively
• Experience with site redesign/rebranding a plus
• Experience managing and mentoring a team of in-house and outsourced designers 
• Punctual, responsible, dependable, honest, and work well with others to obtain common goals
• Bonus: experience in photography or directing photoshoots
