As a Product Designer at Aspiration, you’ll have a rare opportunity to build consumer software products that truly make a difference in the world. You will help to improve our current banking products through a solid understanding of our customers and what is important to them. You will have a role in guiding and improving UX design, research and visual design.
What You'll Do
- Design mobile, web and desktop experiences that delight our customers and help drive the company vision
- Partner with product, engineering, research, content, data and other disciplines to ensure a quality end-to-end customer experience
- Create consistent and thoughtful designs including user flows, interaction designs, information architecture and more
- Champion customer empathy and express the voice of the customer to your cross functional colleagues
- Prototype interactions, test them and iterate
- Effectively communicate and articulate design rationales and key concepts
- Pitch and present designs to stakeholders for sign-off
- Provide accurate specifications for engineering partners
What You'll Bring
- A four-year degree in HCI, Human Factors, Psychology, Interaction or Design related field
- 4+ years experience in User Experience design for mobile, web or desktop applications
- Skills with Sketch, Figma, InVision, Photoshop
- Basic understanding of mobile and front-end development technologies
- Knowledge and understanding of common design and interaction patterns utilized in mobile, web and desktop applications
- Exceptional presentation, communication and negotiation skills
- Enough research experience to be dangerous
- Robust portfolio of work across multiple devices
Bonus Points
- Experience developing design solutions with agile methodology
- Ability to create working prototypes using Framer X, InVision, Flinto or Principle
