Do you obsess over color and typography choices? Do you care about brand identity and have a great design aesthetic? Do you know how to create designs that build loyalty and create customer demand?

We are looking for a strong graphic designer who is passionate about creating and enhancing the aesthetic of some of the largest e-commerce brands in the world.

As our Mobile App Graphic Designer, you’ll be responsible for creating beautiful, high quality design assets and user flows for our merchants’ mobile apps. You will be dedicated to detail, a creative thinker, and have the ability to understand a merchant's style requests and translate them to professional graphics that will be published on the app.

This role works closely with the Sales, Implementation, and Customer Success team, but is not customer facing. Above all, we're looking for a creative individual who is always ready to make it happen.

What you need to know:

1-2 years of professional experience in a creative department, agency, or design studio
Drawing, illustration skills, iconography and typography
Mastery of Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Figma
Pixel perfection
You live and breathe on your Wacom tablet. Scalable vectors make your heart warm.
Experience working creatively in a fast paced environment or with deadlines

What you'll be working on:

Proactively designing mobile apps for our customers and potential customers
Working closely with the Customer Success, Implementation and Sales teams to understand what the customers are expecting from their app design
Working directly with customers to understand their brand message and translate it into a beautiful mobile app
Showing the value and flexibility of the Tapcart mobile app platform by helping customer create an app that converts into sales.
Enhancing existing app designs and upgrading them for an optimal user experience
Updating App Listing screenshots to drive user downloads
Create scalable processes that can be used efficiently in all design requests

Two months after joining Tapcart as the first account executive in 2018, Chris sat out a company ski day in Lake Tahoe to present a demo to a Shopify merchant that had called that morning. Since joining Tapcart in August 2019, Val has guided clients through the onboarding and launch of more than 800 apps. Recently, Val worked with a hairpiece company with a large social media following that was looking to expand their business through a mobile app. One month after going live — and thanks to Val’s support — the company’s app reached a 90.8 percent retention rate and generated over $200,000 in sales.
