Job Summary

The Learning Experience Designer (LED) will support the enablement efforts of our Go-To-Market (GTM) functions and apply their deep expertise in instructional design, adult learning, and learning tools to develop innovative content, resources, and training that is relevant, actionable, and easily consumed. The LED's design toolbox includes planning, developing, evaluating, and maintaining training ILT/vILT content, eLearning courses, simulations, mobile learning, graphical assets, and job aids/QRGs. This individual will have a keen eye for learner experience, with an unyielding attention to detail and design quality, to create learning solutions that are not only engaging and interactive, but also deliver real performance outcomes. This will involve working with a broad set of stakeholders across GTM as well as subject matter experts to prioritize, create, launch, and evaluate GTM enablement programs.

 

 

Roles and Responsibility (list in order of importance)

  • Lead and execute projects through the design lifecycle, from scoping, research, and needs analysis, to design and content development, through launch and measurement for successful implementation and impact
  • Align learning solutions with global business objectives by working with GTM Enablement team members, stakeholders, and SMEs to identify performance gaps and best practices, then establish learning objectives
  • Collaborate and consult with GTM Enablement team members to brainstorm and identify learning solutions to achieve desired outcomes
  • Identify and implement the most effective modalities and tools (ILT, vILT, job aids, QRGs, infographics, simulations, microlearning, eLearning, and blended learning) to support an array of learners, while considering time and geographical constraints, to create programs that drive performance outcomes and break down concepts into simple learning blocks
  • Write effective copy, instructional text, and audio/video scripts that support the learning objectives and provide drafts quickly to ensure on-time delivery
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of enablement for technology and systems, including WalkMe builds for Salesforce/CPQ, to accelerate time to competency, increase digital adoption, and support digital transformation
  • Be the voice of the learner, ensuring their needs are at the forefront of our content efforts
  • Build metrics into training design to measure training effectiveness and evaluate retention of information and application of learning
  • Pivot as needed to support different projects for a broad set of stakeholders
  • Support the configuration and administration of the LMS
  • Keep up to date with current trends in Learning & Development
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Required Qualifications

Years of Experience in Related Field: 10+ years of experience in instructional design and corporate training, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in technology and systems training

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven ability to create learning solutions using a variety of tools, including as Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite, Doodly, Vyond, and Articulate 360
  • Proficient in building systems training using WalkMe
  • Experience publishing and managing learning objects and running reports in a LMS/LXP (Docebo experience a plus)
  • Proven ability to manage concurrent projects and consider tasks, risks, dependencies, and timelines
  • Deep understanding of and ability to apply adult learning theory
  • Ability to apply Kirkpatrick's Evaluation Model
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Exceptional ability to communicate with stakeholders and manage expectations
  • Ability to consistently deliver high quality products with aggressive development schedules
  • Passion for problem-solving and translating business needs into high-impact learning strategies that enhance people and business performance
  • Resourceful with a notable ability to execute with little supervision
  • Adaptable and able to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change is a must
  • Ability to translate concepts and summarize and communicate complex ideas
