We're seeking a Lead Product Designer to join our team on a full-time basis and work on our core platform redesign. We are looking for someone who sees the world differently and can create innovative and trustworthy technology for our customers while elevating our design. You will have direct interaction with all levels of the company, including members of our executive team. 

Initial Responsibilities

• Conduct external user research and internal interviews to find out the key pain points and make insight-driven decisions (from data and user behavior)
• Incorporate qualitative and quantitative  insights to create a design vision for our core platform and design system that embodies the simplicity of the SP brand and values
• Define the long term goal, milestones, and iterative approach to update the look and feel of the core platform
• Validate decisions through rapid prototyping and testing.  
• Collaborate with PM’s, developers, marketing and CS to create an iterative approach to redesigning the SP platform.
• Redesign the platform by focusing on the key flows and working with all squads to iterate and update the rest of the platform.  
• Empower all Designers to deliver high-quality, polished, delightful, and easy to use designs across Product Squads
• Regularly give and receive feedback on designs and strategic decisions
• Inform design requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers to inform the incorporation of the best design solutions as new features are introduced and existing capabilities are refined.

Requirements

• Proficient in UI, design systems and able to create world class experiences
• Proficient in design software such as Figma, Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, etc
• Experience influencing stakeholders to get buy-in on projects
• Experience in redesign products specially product led growth/SaaS platforms
• Experience having led a complete redesign from start to finish
• Strong foundation in UI, Interaction design and motion with great attention to detail 
• Experience building/maintaining a scalable design system 
• A creative thinker who has lots of ideas and sees solutions when most would not
• Capable of thinking about experiences holistically  
• Capable of time management and meeting deadlines
• A portfolio demonstrating creative problem solving, ability to design for multiple meda and clean visual aesthetic
• Self-motivated attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced, strong work ethic, sense of urgency and accountability
