Language Designer (Copywriter)
We’re looking for a B2B Language Designer (Copywriter) to join the marketing team at Snapchat! Working on the Marketing team in Santa Monica, you will write, manage, and hone our voice in copy for our advertising business. You’ll spend your time designing and writing intelligent, logical flows for communicating information — be that in a marketing site about our ad products, sizzles that showcase our offerings, business narratives used across the company, and more.
What you’ll do:
Manage and write ad sales collateral, email marketing, decks, websites, case studies, and more related to Snapchat’s ad products and business products
Work with graphic designers and editors to create videos, sizzles, case studies, and more
Internalize the Snapchat voice, and distribute it across all of your work to cultivate a fun and consistent tone :)
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years professional copywriting experience is mandatory (some experience writing for B2B is preferred)
A strong portfolio showcasing your work across multiple formats (digital, video, social, etc.) is required
Preferred Qualifications:
A master of colloquial language, breaking things down, and explaining what things mean
A strong perspective on what makes a great user experience — in an app, a book, or an appliance. Everything we create, from decks to billboards, is a product!
Experience crafting brand voice, tone, and style guides ensuring consistent language across multiple touchpoints
An incredibly detail-oriented and organized person who never misses a period or an oxford comma
An ability to adapt quickly and compromise with others without compromising our voice and integrity
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to clearly communicate concepts through mocks and decks when pitching work to stakeholders and directors
Ability to work under the pressure of tight deadlines and changing priorities
A strong perspective and understanding of what makes good visual design
