Head of Visual Design, TikTok US at TikTok
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Creative Direction of TikTok's consumer and business facing creative communications strategy for all of US region - Lead and develop a team of highly talented art director, visual designer, video editors, and producers - Collaborate closely with Product Design, Product Management, Marketing, Operation, Employer Brand and other cross-functional leadership to design TikTok's brand experience for the US market - Elevate the quality bar of TikTok US's creative and communication design - Foster a positive work environment through strong leadership and mentorship of a growing team - Collaborate with other design leaders at TikTok to provide design strategies and solutions for a cohesive global brand experience
Qualifications
- 8+ years of design / creative experience with 3+ years in a leadership or management role at creative agency or with a consumer technology brand - Excellent communication and management skills, agile in thinking, passionate about humanities; wide range of interests - Profound knowledge of how to develop a successful consumer-facing brand experience through technology, storytelling and creativity - Proficient in design with keen insights into current trends - A self-motivator and team player with a cooperative mindset - Outstanding teamwork skills and deep understanding of user demands
