Head of Design

At Two Front, we take a human-centered design approach to put the needs of our patients and providers at the center of everything we build. We are laser-focused on delighting our end users (patients and providers) and making it simple for orthodontists to run Two Front concierge practices through our platform.

As Two Front’s Head of Design, you will continue to build out the digital Two Front user experience to live out our mission of providing a world-class orthodontic experience for both patients and providers. You will work on optimizing the patient experience for conversion, engagement, retention, and delight by designing human-centered experiences with empathy that also deliver on business needs.

What you’ll accomplish

  • Set the bar for quality and efficiency of project execution in design.
  • Build out and optimizing the Two Front digital experience including the marketing site, Teeth Assessment, EHR portal, emails, and more.
  • Design our paid marketing campaigns, emails, and social assets.
  • Manage the conception and execution of new features and improvements for both customer facing products and internal tools and workflows. Generate wireframes and prototypes (low and high fidelity) for website features.
  • Lead the conceptualization, wireframing, execution and hand off of UI/UX designs for new and refreshed customer facing site features.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Service Teams throughout the entire life cycle of a product, from developer handoffs to data analysis and user studies.
  • Manage, load and maintain a full database of products while constantly working to improve the efficiency of the process.
  • Work closely with a cross-functional team on the product vision and roadmap.
  • You’ll improve upon and design the end-to-end digital and in-home experience.

This might describe you

  • 3+ years of graphic design experience including demonstrated experience in designing visually compelling consumer mobile/web-based interfaces.
  • Attention to detail and a solid understanding of visual communication.
  • Familiarity with proven and emerging tools for interface design and prototyping, including Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and good ol’ fashioned pen & paper.
  • An understanding of modular, grid-based, systems design.
  • Basic understanding of how designs are implemented by client engineers (HTML/CSS/JS, Auto Layout, etc).
  • Familiarity with the design sprint process and rapid prototyping.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  • Enterprising "doer," with an ownership mentality and a bias towards action, constantly hustling and taking initiative to drive improvements yourself.
  • Willing to roll-up sleeves to take on executional tasks that come with an early-stage start-up.
  • Have the highest standards of excellence.
  • Strategic, can get inside the mind of the customer, and translate quantitative and qualitative data and insights into intelligent design strategies.
  • Humble and low ego team player; knows how to share and be challenged on your expert opinion while respecting others', keeps an open mind.
