Ring is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our Santa Monica team. You will be responsible for creating content for online help centers, to support both internal and external clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in design, narrative and communications. You should perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented. You take ownership of your work. You should be able to participate in design initiatives to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency, and a positive customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Creating graphics, images, iconography, to enhance content pages, and sites in support internal and external CS centers
• Produce animations and instructional images that will enhance the learning experience for our customers
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Product and Go to market teams along with other stakeholders to help create world class customer service experiences
• Uphold design and brand standards
• Explore design concepts and look for ways to improve the overall quality
• Proactively solve day-to-day challenges and exercise sound judgment
• Understanding complex technical issues and being able to communicate them to non-technical customers and agents.

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in a startup, creative agency, or similar environment (digital agency is a plus)
• A portfolio that showcases a wide variety of work across design and communications. 
• Good foundation in design fundamentals, methodologies, and techniques (typography, color theory, illustration, and current design trends)
• You should love infographics and be inspired by technical learning
• Solid experience with Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Aftereffects)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A passion for technical knowledge and a passion for product. 
• Creative and imaginative with an eye for design
• Strong attention to detail
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally with a proven track record of delivery
• Strong design communication skills 
• A good understanding of Motion, CGI, or 3D experience a plus
