In this role, our candidate will be responsible for taking conceptual design ideas and creating visual representations of animated and illustrated digital invitation templates, used by millions of Evite hosts each year.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas for approval
• Offer input to creative meetings and collaborate cross-team
• Produce illustrated and animated assets (GIF animation)
• Liaison effectively with other team members and supporting the team throughout the execution of projects

CORE CAPABILITIES

• Ability to visualize and create GIF animation using Adobe Photoshop and After Effects
• Proven ability to produce creative, attractive and effective illustrative designs utilizing calligraphy, typography, vector, and textural art
• Superior time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines and exceed expectations

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 5 years minimum industry experience in illustration and graphic design
• Highly proficient in all design aspects (calligraphy, typography, vector, and textural art)
• Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Animate, After Effects)
• Ability to communicate design thinking with team members and be able to receive constructive feedback
• Basic HTML and CSS knowledge to be able to understand and edit existing code
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Extremely high attention to detail and dedication to organizational process
