Ring is looking for a Creative Director, Digital & Brand to partner with Development, Marketing, Product and Research. This individual will drive the development of creative across the Ring Brand Ecosystem, attracting and engaging Ring’s audience, as well as positioning the Ring brand as an innovative company who wants to reduce crime in neighborhoods. The Creative Director will drive a creative vision across these areas:Ring Brand, Ring Products,Ring Teams

The ideal candidate must embrace innovation, teamwork, collaboration and mentorship to motivate team of creative and design professionals to successfully inspire and engage customers (new and existing) with every element of brand expression, messaging and communications. The Creative Director must be hands-on and must thrive amongst change.

Responsibilities

  • Own creative excellence at every touch-point
  • Design and deliver extraordinary creative across all marketing channels, including but not limited to Ecommerce, digital, retail, print, and OOH
  • Leverage expertise in creative, design and understanding to help develop the Ring Brand and inspire deeper personal connections to Ring neighbors
  • Understand and distill the unique selling points of Ring’s brand, products, and services for customers generating and executing high level creative
  • Evolve the Ring brand by taking creative risks, nurturing ideas, and helping produce break-out creative for the brand
  • Build a base of knowledge that informs future story-telling: develop and oversee the creative processes, workflow, budgets and timelines
  • Manage and evolve the creative style guide to maintain the integrity of the Ring brand and ensure the highest quality standards, policies and procedures
  • Demand only the best. Accept only the best; building, empowering, leading, motivating and managing a high-performing, world-class, diverse global design & creative team
  • Set stretching goals, monitor performance, and cascade it through the team - coaching, challenging and supporting
  • Make sure all opportunities and initiatives are integrated and gain maximum exposure externally and internally.
  • Create a culture of proactive and open-communications to share brand design expertise and integrate across the entire business
  • Establish a roadmap for on-going innovation and creative experimentation in the marketing, creative, design & product teams
  • Own eCommerce and digital media, and ensure a seamless partnership and communication between online, in store and omnichannel
  • Lead, supervise and aid in the execution of all multi-platform creative and design (including but not limited to, eCommerce, on-air promotion, film, video, graphics, social media content, retail, packaging, off-air, print media, digital media, digital products.) to drive audience conversion, engagement, and brand awareness
  • Working in conjunction with Social & Marketing, supervise the development and execution of brand appropriate social media campaigns and content plans to drive consumption of Ring content across platforms
  • Assist in the creation and adjustments of shoot & productions
  • Build relationships with counterparts in other departments, and external partners and agencies

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience managing creative teams
  • 7+ years of digital marketing experience and keen interest in UI/UX
  • Proven ability to build and lead a creative team 
  • In depth understanding of web design, print design, the full creative stack including research analytics platforms
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, digital prototyping tools, and GA
  • Ability to demonstrate technical and professional knowledge and skills
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail oriented, highly motivated with strong work ethic and quality orientation
  • Understanding of marketing functions and technologies
  • Strong knowledge of data analytic techniques
  • Good conceptualizing and implementing skills
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Relationship building with externals agencies
