We’re a rapidly growing business in search of a Creative Designer to own the design of various materials that connect with retailers and shoppers, consistently reflecting our brand on all channels—including our website, blog, resource center, emails, paid search and social channels, product, sales content, and more.

Our fast-paced environment occasionally requires fast turnarounds, so adaptability is critical for success. The ideal candidate is creative, comfortable working in a collaborative environment, and able to adapt with new data about customer and consumer preferences. We’re keen on providing a top-notch experience to prospects, customers, and users, and you’ll have a significant role in helping us achieve that goal.

ROLE

The Creative Designer will:

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, PR, Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to understand business needs and project specifications that support our business and Marketing strategy.
• Understand the nuances of, and creative needs for, Happy Returns’ target audiences, content types, stage of the buying cycle, and setting.
• Hone how Happy Returns’ creative strategy reflects existing brand, voice, and style guidelines.
• Present creative concepts and underlying strategic thinking to business leaders.
• Provide recommendations about production.
• Collaborate with part-time Graphic Designer and full-time Copywriter to effectively product a compelling, consistent experience across all paid, owned, and earned channels.
• Interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into persuasive materials.
• Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines to contribute to the overall Marketing mix.
• Report to the VP Marketing.

Requirements

SOUND LIKE YOU?

• B2B focus is preferred; B2B2C and B2C experience a plus
• Passion for the problem Happy Returns is solving
• Ability to distill complex ideas into simple, easy to understand graphics
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, and Powerpoint for sales presentations
• Experience in Hubspot and Mailchimp a plus
• Proficient illustration skills and in typography with strong eye for visual composition
• Demonstrated graphic design skills with a strong portfolio of B2B marketing materials
• Four to six years of experience
• The ability to operate in a rapidly-changing and fast-paced environment
• An understanding of retail and the challenges returns pose for stakeholders preferred
