Concept Designer

We’re looking for a Concept Designer to join Snap Inc! As a member of the Lenses team, you will generate concepts for Snapchat Lenses used by millions of people around the world. Working from our Santa Monica headquarters, you’ll collaborate with Design to create mind blowing concept designs for Lenses.
What you’ll do:
Generate ideas for Snapchat Lenses, analyzing current trends of various media and technologies
Create mind-blowing concept designs for Lenses using a diverse set of tools and approaches
Collaborate in concept/brainstorm sessions with the Design Team
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of interactive digital and/or mobile content
Using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
Ability to come up with unusual, creative, or clever ideas
Ability to follow technical tasks and guidelines
Ability to work collaboratively with a team, independently, and under close direction
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in Design or equivalent years of experience
1 year of experience working with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in digital graphic design
Portfolio demonstrating creative abilities, concept art, collaging, and photobashing skills
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Strong attention to detail and high work standards
Artistic approach
Experience with AR/VR product
