Job Summary:
The People team is responsible for thoughtfully driving Ruggable’s growth and optimizing the development of our employees so that they build meaningful careers here. As the compensation and organizational design manager, you will partner with our executive team and board of directors to reimagine our employee value proposition through innovative and competitive compensation programs for our diverse workforce across our corporate and manufacturing populations. You will also analyze our organizational capabilities to design a future-state organization structure positioned for growth. This person will report directly to the Associate Director of Special Projects on the People team.
Responsibilities/ What you’ll do:
- Refine our compensation philosophy & strategy to match Ruggable’s strategic goals
- Evaluate, design and oversee our company-wide compensation and rewards programs including but not limited to our annual comp review process, incentive program strategy and equity administration
- Evaluate and redesign our organizational structure to optimize our job architecture with a career framework that fosters long-term career growth
- Build and maintain a strong external peer network to stay up-to-date on total rewards trends in the eCommerce and Manufacturing industries
- Spearhead additional emerging needs as needed
Experience/ What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or master’s in organizational development preferred
- At least 5 years of compensation design/administration, human capital consulting experience or equivalent
- Knowledge of compensation principles, e.g., job benchmarking, salary structure design, job architecture
- Excellent analytical, writing and presentation skills
- Proven project management skills and creative problem-solving abilities
- Extreme comfort with ambiguity
