Reporting to the Director of Talent Analytics & Planning, this role will be an early voice in defining the role that analytics will play in tackling one of the biggest challenges for our business - hiring the best talent. An independent analyst and business partner, you will be responsible for driving the data strategy for our Talent Acquisition leadership team, building analytics tools while also working alongside them to define our recruiting strategies. Together with the team’s Director and your peers, you’ll ensure that GOAT Group is data-driven in finding the best candidates and supporting our most valuable asset - our employees.


With a sharp business acumen and comfort building reports and data tools to meet the needs of a wide variety of stakeholders, candidates for this role should be excited to tackle a wide array of recruiting-related issues and ensure GOAT Group continues to hire the best talent.

In this role you will:

  • Join as an early member of the Talent Analytics team, defining GOAT Group’s data strategy for hiring top talent for our global corporate, warehouse, and retail teams around the world
  • Create, implement, and iterate on the People Team’s foundational recruiting analytics tools, working with our Talent Acquisition Operations team to ensure our systems and data processes are accurate, streamlined, and scalable
  • Collaborate heavily with our Talent Acquisition leadership to appropriately identify our top hiring issues between recruitment, employer brand, candidate experience, etc. while also thinking creatively of how to address them with scalable solutions
  • Present and communicate status reports on a periodic basis to People Leadership Team, Head of People, and leaders across the business to inform talent acquisition strategy decisions
  • Work alongside your colleagues in Talent Analytics to support other People functions as needed (e.g., engagement, performance management, learning and development, etc.)

We are looking for:

  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience in analytics, consulting, or other data-related field, including previous experience in Recruiting Analytics, People Analytics, HR, or Human Capital Strategy
  • Expertise in Excel required
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and designing dashboards required
  • Experience managing databases and utilizing data visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau) a plus
  • Proven ability to both design and audit data reports independently
  • Past experience telling stories with data, both quantitative and qualitative, for an executive-level audience
  • Proven ability to partner with a wide cross-functional array of stakeholders, both within HR and across other business functions, coaching them on building a data-driven culture
  • A love of continual learning, approaching the challenges of an entrepreneurial, dynamic environment and rapidly changing responsibilities with a curious mindset and “get-the-job-done” mentality
  • Past people analytics experience at high-growth companies a plus
