We’re currently seeking a highly driven Strategy Associate with investment banking, or consulting experience, to further develop and drive our overall customer acquisition and product usage strategy. This position reports directly to the CEO, partnering with Sr. Leadership, to pursue strategic opportunities with large financial institutions. 

The ideal candidate will be very proficient with research, presentations, excel, and financial modeling. This person will be responsible for conducting industry, market, and competitor research, developing possible use cases for existing or new products and features, and the creation of targeted marketing and presentation materials. This person will be pitching opportunities alongside senior executives and the CEO, to other top executives at global financial institutions and financial technology providers.

This is an internal/external customer interfacing position, therefore this person needs to be highly collaborative, with strong data visualization and presentation skills, as well as the ability to influence at all levels of an organization.

During Covid, Spring Labs is 100% remote. Post Covid, this position is located in our offices in Marina Del Rey, CA

What you'll do

• Provide support and build alignment around the company’s strategic vision and plan
• Research, identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers
• Work with customers to demonstrate and prototype the Spring Protocol in customer/partner environments
• Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using our productsTravel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as needed
• Map customer requirements to current and future products and services
• Educate prospects on the business value of our products and services, with a focus on customer satisfaction and success
• Prepare presentations that effectively highlight key messaging for both internal partners and external customers
• Develop key performance indicators, dashboards, and reporting that accurately represent the effectiveness of key initiatives
• Provide project management coordination and support as needed

About you

• 1-3 years professional experience in Investment Banking, Technical Consulting, or Management Consulting from a top tier firm
• BS in a STEM field preferred. BS in Finance, Business, Economics, Marketing or a related field
• Data driven
• Highly proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
• Experience and/or proficiency with a programming language and/or SQL is a plus
• Proven ability to present and demonstrate complex technical concepts and has successfully derived salient points of financial services products for telling a compelling story to the marketplace
• Exceptional judgement, including an ability to execute independently and work with team members of all levels
• Creative problem solver, who brings viable ideas to the table
• Ability to achieve results, in a fast paced environment, with competing priorities
• Demonstrated experience with broad, cross-functional projects
• High intellectual curiosity and passion for problem-solving
• Strong organization skills, attention to detail and pride in quality work product
• Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
