About the Role:
GoodRx is looking for a talented Senior Manager to join the Business intelligence team. In this role, you will be supporting the analytical work of GoodRx’s growth efforts in SEO and Content. Partnering with cross-functional leaders in areas such as Editorial, Product, Marketing, Design, and User Research, you will help identify new opportunities both in our existing content as well as in new categories. You’ll help the company understand the impact of all SEO-related changes (internal and external) and empower teams with the data needed to make informed decisions.
We are looking for someone who has the ability to lead a BI team along with strong analytical chops of their own. The Senior BI Manager will need to be able to manage 1-2 analysts, including prioritizing across multiple workstreams, orchestrating an A/B testing program, and preparing the team for future success by building upon GoodRx’s analytics infrastructure. The manager will also need to be a strong individual contributor, with the skills to dive deep into data and effectively communicate findings and recommendations. This position is a strategic and technical role requiring excellent communication skills and knowledge in the following areas: growth strategies, SEO, data visualization, SQL and basic scripting.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a growing team of 1-2 analysts
- Identify SEO issues and opportunities for organic growth in both web and native app properties, analyzing data from sources such as Google Analytics, Search Console and request logs
- Partner with business stakeholders to build analytical frameworks, size business opportunities, and define success metrics that inform decision making and strategic planning
- Support A/B and multivariate testing efforts from ideation to execution and post-launch analysis
- Build upon GoodRx’s dashboarding and analytics infrastructure to enable data-driven decision making throughout our Content efforts
- Keep pace with SEO and internet marketing industry trends and developments to understand the impact of changes, such as Google algorithm updates
- Work with teams across the business to lead a data-informed approach to SEO and top-of-funnel optimization
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6+ years experience in a web analytics/SEO role, with 2+ years of managerial experience
- Advanced SQL skills
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics, or similar enterprise analytics tooling
- Dashboarding and visualization skills
- A strong interest in the evolving search landscape
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Ability to interact with, present to, and influence cross-functional partners and senior management with data-driven insights and strong presentation skills
- Ability to organize, plan, prioritize and drive high-impact outcomes in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
Experience in any of the following are a plus:
- Experience with SEO data and/or content reporting tools
- Management consulting or analytics at another technology/healthcare firm
- Programming language: python (pandas, matplotlib, NumPy), R
- Experience working on highly-trafficked or consumer-facing websites
- Domain expertise in healthcare
