The Product Analysis & Teardown organization is intended to provide a multitude of opportunities to identify best value practices for aircraft systems, simplify designs, or take advantage of newer technologies or manufacturing changes through cost analysis, data integration and reuse methodologies.The purpose of the integration team is to develop processes, methods and tools to multiply the productivity and effectiveness of the entire organization by >10X. Further the integration team will apply these very processes, methods and tools to the business units to enable large scale productivity and affordability targets. Integration team members' responsibility will enable organizational and enterprise solutions based on business needs, features & requirements. Examples include maximize product reuse applications, automation, tools & utilities integration, data aggregation, data model curation & enhancement, and enabling enhanced data insights.This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at a US based Boeing location.Position Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with analytics teams to identify opportunities for technology insertion
  • Design and develop Oracle database systems to integrate data from numerous sources, improve data quality and support clean and efficient data recording and management
  • Design and maintain database security architecture
  • Establish related data tables, views, constraints, triggers as well as procedures and functions using PL/SQL to support data import, export, reporting, tracking and quality checking.
  • Utilizing PL/SQL and JavaScript within Oracle Application Express (APEX) environment to establish a web-based application, including dynamic actions and complex table operations.
  • Develop Excel templates consisting of VBA scripts to improve team efficiency by performing on-the-fly data validation and user-initiated data cleanup, quality checking, parsing, and compilation.
  • Develop and map XML schema to support data import from and export to an Oracle database.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post - Start is required. Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in Oracle Database design
  • 4+ years' experience w riting database queries in SQL server and Oracle
  • 3+ years' experience Oracle PL/SQL development

Desired Experiences, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Science or higher from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • Ability to problem solve and seek out information
  • Experience developing and implementing a security architecture framework handling financial and export data protections
  • Formal Analytics Background
  • Experience working in an Agile framework

Typical Education and Experience:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.)
