As a Research Analyst you will be an integral part of Compass’ New Development team. You will be a key resource in continuing to develop the over $2.5 Billion in New Development projects in the pipeline and researching new projects across the country and business for Compass to acquire domestically. You will work closely with our talented New Development team and agents as well as with our in-house design, marketing and sales team on a national scale. This is a great opportunity to learn what drives current real estate market trends, particularly within the new development domain.

At Compass You Will:

• Identify and collect various data to gauge the health of the domestic residential real estate market
• Research, track, and analyze real estate development projects across the country
• Closely monitor real estate publications to understand future domestic new development projects in the pipeline and assemble all pertinent project information
• Maintain proprietary research databases
• Assist in the creation of various reports to provide insights for internal use as well as for developers, institutions and agents

What We're Looking For:

• College graduate with Bachelor's degree
• 1-3 years industry experience required
• Real estate experience (finance, residential, or commercial) required
• Familiarity with real estate market and real estate transactions required
• Self-starter who can work independently as well as in a collaborative environment
• Demonstrated research, analytical and presentation skills
• Ability to manage and maintain databases in Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Naturally curious
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
