As Marketplace Manager at GOAT, you will join a fast-growing technology startup looking to create an unparalleled consumer experience. As the largest online marketplace for authentic sneakers, the integrity of the product database is an essential part of the experience for our users and this role is critical to enhancing that experience.

A successful candidate will have a proven track record of top performance, the ability to multi-task in a dynamic/high-intensity growth environment, and experience supporting the strategic objectives of a cross- functional team. The ideal candidate would have a passion for and knowledge of e-commerce and online marketplaces.

In this role you will:

• Assist in building the world’s most comprehensive and trusted footwear database
• Update, monitor and preserve the product database, ensuring the accuracy, robustness and timeliness of the information stored
• Establish efficient and orderly processes to optimize the maintenance and upkeep of our data
• Work with large data sets and perform insightful analyses to assess product performance and trends
• Partner with various departments in the execution of strategic initiatives
• Be flexible to manage ad hoc assignments as they arise
• Operate with minimal guidance at times and be comfortable with ambiguity
• Above all, put user satisfaction first

We are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (i.e., statistics, finance, operations research, economics, engineering, etc.)
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a highly analytical role; management consulting or investment banking preferred but not required
• Passion for sneakers, technology and helping others succeed
• Proficient in Excel; SQL a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, collaborative and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
• Willingness to work on all types of assignments from the most basic to the very complex
• Must be available and willing to work extended hours as needed, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs
