THE PURPOSE:

Slickdeals is the largest and most trusted platform that helps connect 11 million monthly users with the best products at the best prices. 

The Market Research Analyst is self-motivated, enjoys working in the fast-paced online space, and is looking to utilize and apply their existing business experience at a rapidly growing company. This person will analyze qualitative data, advertising trends, business strategy and competition aimed at increasing Slickdeals competitiveness within the digital industry. THE ROLE:

• Collect and consolidate qualitative intelligence on consumers, competitors and the digital marketplace into actionable sales tactics, reports and presentations 
• Understand Slickdeals business objectives and perform internal qualitative and quantitative research to understand current and future positioning in market
• Provide competitive analysis on in-market companies, identify market trends and pricing value models to strengthen Slickdeals position within the digital industry 
• Deliver sales research initiatives to accelerate the education of internal Slickdeals teams and help strengthen advertising campaigns to deliver campaign success for our clients
• Study digital market conditions and help determine new incremental sales opportunities
• Help our Slickdeals internal business development and sales teams determine appropriate advertising product solutions 
• Identify and prioritize prospects based on budget analysis
• Lead existing and select new research methodology software tools
• Design research questionnaires and an infrastructure that facilitates regular client feedback to support sales product strategy Work with clients to increase understanding of goals and business objectives
• Perform valid and reliable digital marketing research SWOT analysis
• Interpret research data, formulate reports, make recommendations and implement best practices

THE CANDIDATE:

• Excellent attention to detail, interpret large amount of research data and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
• Creative problem solver, thinks outside of the box and can develop recommendations to grow campaigns
• Ability to translate complex research data into easy to understand information
• Ability to communicate across various levels of the organization with excellent written and oral communication abilities
• Works well in a team environment
• Independent, takes initiative, enthusiastic, eager to learn
• Comfort with interacting with clients and maintaining a professional demeanor
• Ability to learn quickly regarding new research tools and platforms
• An analytical, problem solving and results-driven approach to challenges and opportunities
• Understanding of and passion for e-commerce

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising or related field.
• 1-2+ years of work experience with sales research and data management
• General computer and email proficiency (Google suite)
• Must also be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
