The Data Manager for Digital Cinema operations ensures compliance to security protocols, that any issue in the Data Department is dealt with in a prompt manner in order to ensure continuous flow of production operations and that deadlines are met. Supervision of staff, troubleshooting and any task requested by immediate supervisor will be required.

Job Specific Tasks:

• Manage a data operations team
• Coordinate all shift schedules to ensure adequate operator coverage 24x7x365
• Partner with Engineering to coordinate system downtime and maintenance
• Communicate and collaborate with management from other departments
• Report and advise upper management on issues or potential improvements
• Attend various interdepartmental meetings and pass pertinent information to data management/operations
• Perform workflow assessment before deployment
• Produce high-quality documentation and provide training for all new software, procedures, and workflows
• Collaborate with department leads both globally and locally to implement new workflows
• Ensure all security protocols are followed by data operations
• Ensure the SAN is healthy and all data is properly archived
• Ensure 100% accuracy for all data deliveries

Skills and Abilities:

• Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in High Pressure situations (Deadlines/High Profile client interaction…)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate leadership ability
• Knowledge of Digital Cinema workflows and standards
• Experience with Database layout and functions
• Provide internal technical support and respond to business regarding technical questions, provide critical thinking to solve and prevent problems
• Experience with Data workflows and standards

Experience:
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Digital Cinema Production
One (1) to two (2) years of experience in program management and customer service

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College/University or equivalent professional experience
