The Manager of Data & Analytics will lead a team of analysts to support the Data, Reporting, and Analytical needs for Mortgage Operations.  This individual will be responsible for developing solutions for clients and establishing processes and measurement protocols.  This position will require that the individual in this position can quickly and effectively review, organize, and present large sets of data.  This position will entail interacting with Senior Management, presenting findings, and recommending solution based off data analysis conducted. 

Job Description

  • Leads a team of analyst that support various business functions across the enterprise
  • Leads and manages cross functional projects as an analytics expert to ensure projects are aligned with the company strategy when developing solutions for our clients
  • Develops, implements, and manages policies, procedures, and control to mitigate risk related to information management and provisioning
  • Analyzes historical portfolio and industry trends that assist with the creation of predictive models that forecast performance
  • Analyzes large, multi-dimensional datasets, identifying actionable insights and recommendations
  • Performs time series analyses and forecasts based on seasonality, trend, and cyclicality
  • Oversees the tracking/reporting of client data on a daily, weekly, monthly basis to assess business performance and recommend related strategies
  • Effectively communicates findings to management through presentations, emails and spreadsheets
  • May be required to support new business initiatives through demonstration of analytical capabilities
  • Offers strategic perspective, sound business judgment and a collaborative work style
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or other quantitative discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant, professional work experience in an agency environment
  • Fluent in using Microsoft Excel for data transformation, analysis, and presentation
  • Critical thinking and the capability of generating consistently accurate, useful reports as well as an enthusiasm for translating data into actionable insight relevant to marketing program objectives
  • Attention to detail and time management to deliver high quality work for multiple projects across several client engagements while meeting deadlines
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently
  • Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical and sound judgment skills
  • Financial services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience strongly preferred
  • Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management
