Riot Games was established in 2006 by entrepreneurial gamers who believe that player-focused game development can result in great games. In 2009, Riot released its debut title League of Legends to critical and player acclaim. As the most played PC game in the world, over 100 million play every month. Players form the foundation of our community and it’s for them that we continue to evolve and improve the League of Legends experience.

We’re looking for humble but ambitious, razor-sharp professionals who can teach us a thing or two. We promise to return the favor. Like us, you take play seriously; you’re passionate about games. We embrace those who see things differently, aren’t afraid to experiment, and who have a healthy disregard for constraints.

That's where you come in.

As a Global Mobility Analyst, Immigration, you'll manage Riot's immigration program for U.S. based new hires and current Rioters. You'll help define what a great program looks like and create/maintain processes, policies and measurements to ensure we can deliver on our promise. Riot will see you as the subject matter expert on all things U.S. immigration related and you'll advise on how best to navigate complex issues. You can't do it alone though, so you'll need to leverage your leadership and operational chops to manage our external immigration firm and ensure they feel like an extension of the Riot team.

You are:

  • Expertly equipped: with at least 3 years of experience in the U.S. employment based immigration space, you understand the technology, trends, and best practices currently affecting the field; you continually strive to improve your skills while staying in the know. Extra XP for experience at an entertainment company or a company with a robust global mobility need.
  • A problem solver: when problems appear, you're the on-call fixer, applying your methodical approach to clean up even the stickiest of situations; you look past the obvious solution, checking in with all sources to uncover any hidden issues lying dormant
  • Cool headed: immigration isn't without its share of stressful situations, but that's no problem for you as you thrive in high-stress situations by embracing the unexpected, staying calm under pressure, and thinking clearly when details are hazy
  • A trusted advisor: you intuitively build relationships with your peers, partners, and customers and are able to be candid with all; people view you as a collaborator and seek out your perspective
  • A work flow wiz: you're a master of process, able to simplify the complex, organize chaos, separate or combine tasks, and get more out of less to finish the job; you understand where the links in the chain should go, hooking together often overlooked opportunities and partnerships
  • Rioter-focused: you understand your impact on the Riot experience because you seek Rioters' input on your work; you listen closely to Rioters to better understand their needs before they do and improve the overall Riot experience

You will:

  • Optimize Riot's U.S. Immigration Program, by developing and evolving policies, processes and best practices that maximize our ROI and deliver a positive Rioter experience
  • Manage the immigration firm(s) from holding them accountable to outlined SLAs and quality metrics to building strategies ensuring invoices are paid on-time and accurately
  • Develop proactive plans to manage foreign national visa needs from status changes to pursuing green cards
  • Act as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for Recruiting, Talent Partners and Business Leaders and provide strategies and guidance on complex immigration issues
  • Educate and support foreign nationals on the immigration process and policies
  • Present Talent and business leaders with meaningful analytics and immigration regulation updates and its impact to Riot's immigration program and foreign nationals

Don’t forget to include a resume and cover letter. We receive a lot of applications, but we’ll notice a fun, well-written intro that shows us you take play seriously.
