The Executive Search team at ServiceTitan is hiring for a Research Analyst as an essential player on the team and partner to the Principal Recruiter. The Executive Search team works arm-in-arm with leaders across the organization on the Company’s high impact executive placements. We are relied on for our market insights, advice about the talent market, how to best engage and assess that talent, offer excellent candidate experience, and ultimately place talented business leaders to inspire the hearts and minds of our Titans.
You will study the SaaS market, develop search and sourcing strategies for active and future search work, and help educate our business leaders and candidates.
You will have the intellectual curiosity, problem-solving capability, and pride in developing ServiceTitan’s leadership.
You understand the importance of data-based approaches to problem-solving, and when appropriate, collect additional metrics to aid in the development of a solution.
Your work will be the foundation for our team's success in discovering and engaging our future leaders across all functions - ultimately progressing our company’s culture and overall growth.
What You’ll Do:
Partner closely with the Principal Executive Recruiter and Business Leaders on high-profile leadership requisitions, leveraging strategic thinking, influencing, and coaching skills to assist them in determining and fulfilling their talent needs.
Create thoughtful target lists and mappings, and execute search strategies against those targets.
Stay abreast of market shifts (major transactions/M&A/layoffs in the market, etc.).
Identify and discuss leadership talent with Principal Recruiter and Business Leaders, providing a point of view on the talent based on your research and understanding of the market landscape.
Build relationships with leadership talent in the marketplace. Source passive candidates through research, internal and external networking, and direct outreach.
Regularly update Principal Recruiter regarding your thoughts on the market, updates to strategy, progress and overall research/search process optimization.
Collaborate with other researchers and TA talent on best practices, tooling and systems.
Maintain the highest discretion and confidentiality of candidate and company information.
Join forces with our Executive Search Coordinator on process in order to run a successful search process and help hire exceptional talent.
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years of research experience, preferably within executive search, management consulting, or in-house executive recruiting.
Experience creating search strategies, mapping markets, gleaning industry insights, and being an advocate of process and data quality.
Experience building out executive talent research focused on the technology space.
Experience thoughtfully engaging talent and assessing competencies.
Ability to strategically set out the target company universe and prioritize effectively based on key market insights.
Ability to get up to speed quickly on new markets and to run a thorough search process, including candidate research, outreach, and engagement.
Strong communication skills and ability to build productive partnership with leaders at ServiceTitan.
