Ecommerce Merchandise Planner
FabFitFun is looking for a Merchandise Ecommerce Merchandise Planner to join our growing Ecommerce team! This is a brand new position to help support our Senior Ecommerce Merchandise Planning Manager in driving strategic initiatives to support financial planning, merchandise planning, inventory planning, and establishing systems processes management. Our new Merchandise Planner will ensure that we are meeting and exceeding all KPI’s to drive future Ecommerce performance to meet the needs of our 1+ million VIP members. What You’ll Do:
Financial Planning
- Maintain tops-down financial plan and leverage on historical data trends to build out financial model that aligns with company growth initiatives by product type (new inventory, carryover inventory, drop ship)
- Prepare financial reporting package in preparation for seasonal sale review meetings with the Finance Team
- Participate as a key business partner in Finance meetings and provide thoughtful insight on revenue and inventory goals
- Develop tops-down category assortment plans that align with historical performance metrics, comp plans and strategic growth initiatives at the product level (category, subcategory, and class levels)
- Work with Project Management to ensure that all timelines and x-functional alignment meetings on the the 22 week planning cycle is on track across all 8 flash sales
Merchandise Planning
- Analyze historical data and performance metrics at brand level to build a bottoms-up plan that aligns with growth plans across all Merchandising Teams
- Identify top performers among the 400+ brand partnerships, oversee the development of brand partnership plans and investment strategies
- Support account management brand plans, working with the Account Managers at a macro level to ensure all KPIs are achieved
- Analyze seasonal sale performance and identify inventory and/or investment risks
- Participate as a key thought leader in weekly product pitch meetings and partner with x-functional Merchandising Teams with strategies in achieving KPI’s
Inventory Planning
- Review inventory report on a monthly basis to assess risk, evaluate possible allocation, and make recommendations on inventory liquidation strategies
- Actively work with x-functional teams on inventory allocation for marketing initiatives
- Partner with the Warehouse Team on inventory liquidation plans, including but not limited to donations and damages
- Be the subject matter expert on inventory reporting, allocations and tracking
- Work closely with x-functional teams in identifying inventory risks and opportunities
Business Reporting/Analytics
- Maintenance of data integrity in Salesforce and Business Intelligence systems
- Ability to organize and synthesize data, build refreshable reports out of Excel, identify key metrics that create analytical value on scheduled and ad-hoc reporting
- Management of weekly reporting and hindsight reporting decks to the Executive Team
- Track team KPI’s on a weekly basis to ensure that financial metrics are achieved and taking action as needed
- Partner with the Business Intelligence Team in ensuring that dashboards and daily flash reports are automated prior to the start of every flash sale, including but not limited to trouble-shooting reporting issues

- Process Management: Can identify and clearly articulate the processes necessary to get things down efficiently and align resources effectively complete activities
- Systems and Tools Acumen: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Keynote, Google Docs and have aptitude to learn technical applications quickly
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrates strong listening, written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years work experience, preferable in Merchandise Planning and/or Buying
