Do you excel at working collaboratively with all parts of a company to accelerate the growth of a fast-moving company? If so, Commercial Real Estate Exchange, Inc. (CREXi) is looking for a Business/Data Analyst to be part of the Data/Analytics team. This position will touch all parts of the business with the objective of scaling the use of analytics to drive CREXi forward. 

CREXi is a forward-looking marketplace in the CRE space that brings brokers, buyers and principals together to transact online. Through collaboration with brokers and principals, CREXi blends technology with the fundamentals of CRE transactions, addressing the shifting needs of industry professionals to maximize revenue and minimize time spent on administrative tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Use data to drive actionable insights across all parts of the business
  • Work cross-functionality across multiple departments including: Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Operations, and Finance
  • Identify and analyze key metrics for the business
  • Build dashboards that effectively articulate your analysis
  • Use data to build out future CREXi’s revenue plan
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to support product and company decisions
  • Work both independently and collaboratively to deliver creative solutions to complex problems

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field (e.g. Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data and providing business insights
  • Three to five years of experience in a data-focused role
  • Experience with SQL, Python, R, SPSS, SAS, Matlab, etc. preferred
  • Flexibility in working in a constantly changing and fast-paced culture
  • Experience with Tableau or Looker, preferred

Location

Our headquarters is located in trendy Playa Vista, California. With plenty of restaurants, shopping, and the beach nearby, we cannot ask for a better location! We also have an East Coast office in Miami, FL.

Crexi's work-life balance is ideal in my opinion. The expectation is to come in, put in the time and get your job done. There are high job expectations for each role. How do you make yourself accessible to the rest of the team?

I have an open door policy. I also like to walk around the office regularly and chat with the team. We also do monthly company-wide meetings. Another way I make myself accessible is by doing brown bag lunches with employees.
