WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

This Data Capture Fulfillment Manager will oversee our Data Capture Fulfillment team in Ventura and Irvine, CA. This is a team that works in collaboration with our business teams to ensure top notch Datafication. We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic about leading & managing a growing team of junior-mid level data professionals, and is equally as interested in learning about new & complex data/database technologies. An ideal candidate will serve as a people leader, as well as a mediator between account and technology teams, helping both reach solutions on high-priority technical issues. There is plenty of room for advancement in this role within the department or otherwise within our company.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Provide oversight, guidance and mentorship to members of the Global Support Team.
  • Maintain management accountability for Data Capture Fulfillment Team KPI achievement
  • Manage management responsibility for Data Capture Fulfillment Team member development and performance
  • Manage Data Capture Fulfillment Team process improvement initiatives and projects
  • Oversee Creation and manage systems/ processes of datafication
  • Multi-task, manage and generate new data segments from internal data sets
  • Manage our internal taxonomy for data segments
  • Collaborate with Software Engineers and Data Scientists in building & testing prototypes for margin-generating products
  • Create custom data segments for clients
  • Manage and create reports related to team performance and data entry tracking
  • Manage and prioritize inventory for datafication
  • Set up and manage checks & balances in data entry process
  • Managing and automating refreshing of data segments
  • Run and automate scheduled scripts for data creation
  • Responsible for accuracy of processes and data creation
  • Maintain categorizations of data segments inside our DMP
  • Act as a primary conduit/catalyst between the Data Capture Fulfillment Team and other TTD Teams
  • Oversee and contribute to the company’s Knowledge Base by the creation of new Articles and updating existing ones
  • Assist with screening and hiring permanent team members for the Data Capture Fulfillment Team
  • Assess Team progress and identify needs of the Data Capture Fulfillment Team
  • Coordinate in-depth training on Data Capture-related tools and processes

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year university or relevant substitute experience
  • 2+ years relevant work experience in a technical, data analytics and/or applications support role
  • 1+ years in a technical lead or people management role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication at a technical level
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced “start-up” environment
  • Possesses creativity to generate new ideas and ways to create data sets
  • Skills in Python, SQL, HTML, JSON, XML, and API integrations
    • Experience with R & JavaScript is a plus
  • Proven experience and ability to develop complex SQL queries and reports
  • Knowledge of RTB, DSPs, ad exchanges, aggregators, and ad servers is a plus
  • Knowledge of Excel and MS Office, including pivot tables, chart-making, and manipulation of large data sets
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and understand highly technical processes and projects given from our engineering team
  • Ability to manipulate and draw insights from extremely large datasets with minimal support
  • Must have deep hands-on expertise with SQL Server and data warehouse methodologies/practices
    • Experience with Vertica is a plus
  • Experience in a customer / client facing role (working directly with business stakeholders)
  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • The ability to lead by example, to teach others, and to maintain top productivity
