TikTok's Brand team helps ensure we're delivering on this mission through all of our marketing and communication efforts, helping set the brand tone and bring the brand story to life through constant marketing innovation across advertising, digital engagement and social storytelling. We're looking for a Consumer Research and Insights Lead who can partner with a diverse team of highly skilled marketing and functional experts to help bring us beyond our insatiable brand ambitions. This individual will develop market research studies and surface new insights into our current and prospective consumers. The insights will help optimize marketing strategies and consumer experiences, ultimately to drive deeper customer engagement. Responsibilities: - Consult with internal marketing stakeholders to translate their key questions and knowledge gaps into timely and impactful research plans. - Build and lead a team of high-impact consumer insight professionals. - Develop brand equity tracking, ad testing, and product concept testing to help drive marketing ideas. - Develop consumer/audience segmentation study to identify key consumer opportunities/targets, establish internal measurements of campaign effectiveness and inform brand strategy. - Deliver qualitative and quantitative research efforts; manage external research vendors and demonstrate statistical and analytical techniques to derive insights. - Champion survey-based data with behavioral and transactional analytics to enrich insights. - Communicate in a way that is easily understood and visually compelling, persuading marketing partners to turn insights into action and actively work to influence the adoption of the recommendations.

Qualifications

- 10+ years in applied market research experience, preferably in high tech companies. - Proven track record of creating research and insights for brands. - Proven market research know-how, including designing studies, crafting surveys, analyzing data and developing insightful reports. - Self-starter with a desire to tackle business problems by collaborating with both partners and peers. - Experience building, inspiring and coaching teams toward top performance. - Effective organization skills and the ability to handle complex projects. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
