Campaign Analyst
AppOnboard is seeking a sharp, data-focused individual to join our Ad Operations team here at our Los Angeles headquarters. You'll analyze our network, summarize key metrics, then relay those insights back to the rest of the Ad Ops and Commercial teams so they can make actionable improvements to the network. We're looking for someone to be a thought leader and consultative resource for optimizing mobile advertising campaigns and product development.
AppOnboard is a next-gen platform that powers Full-Fidelity Demos, which allow users to instantly experience an app or game in the highest quality possible before downloading it. AppOnboard enables app and game testing, driving insights to product teams and optimizing app launches and onboarding. The company was founded in late 2016 by Jonathan Zweig, the founding CEO of AdColony (which sold to Opera Software for $350 million).

Job Details:
Gather & analyze data through quantitative and qualitative mechanisms to make actionable recommendations for the business
Utilize mathematical and statistical tools to analyze, interpret, and develop insights to predict and optimize network efficiency
Execute and oversee day-to-day optimizations across all campaigns and supply sources, including performance monitoring, identifying and implementing optimizations, issue identification and escalation
Develop dashboards / reports and communicate campaign metrics to key stakeholders, including Sales teams and Executive leadership
Manage outsourced ad ops’ vendor relationship to scale out trafficking capabilities during peak times
Partner with Product team to help define features and improvements to operation tools and dashboards
Requirements
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, Power Bi, Microstrategy, Domo)
Ability to maintain a high level of productivity and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience using various reporting services, pulling data from multiple sources, and using dashboards
Excellent analytical skills with a highly detail-oriented mindset
Strong communication skills interdepartmentally and externally
Clear written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate data-driven insights into strategic recommendations
Start-up mindset with a passion to help build a team and grow a business from the ground up
Willing to be available for work during weekends and/or nights on a semi-regular basis
The following is a plus:
Knowledge of the mobile ad-tech and ad-serving ecosystem and network dynamics
Familiarity with RTB and programmatic buying
Proficiency with SQL
Passion in mobile gaming
Sense of humor
