The Ring Financial Systems Team is looking for a smart, results-oriented and detail driven Master Data Manager to create and manage processes governing inventory master data across systems. The Master Data Manager will develop a system for managing all inventory master data within the ERP system, NetSuite, as well as dependent systems: BOM Management, procurement, warehouse management etc. The Master Data Manager will work across departments, teams and subsidiaries to develop a unified item master, a proper data management policy, and implementation of Amazon’s ASIN and master data structures.

The Master Data Manager will be responsible for the master data governance policy and gaining by-in and compliance from stakeholders across the Ring and Amazon Corporate organizations. The Master Data Manager will play a key role in migrations of data, software tools, warehouses as the Ring business integrates with the Amazon organization. 

Tasks

• Develop and implement process for generating Master Data/ SKU information for new product; from inception though engineering, manufacture and fullfilment
• Work across teams, departments, subsidiaries and software tools to unify and maintain consistent, comprehensive master data for inventory items
• Develop and implement a governance policy and change control processes for inventory item master
• Ensure completeness of ERP data set, and resolve all mismatches between ERP and concurrent production systems
• Work with BOM management, procurement and inventory accounting teams to ensure appropriate inventory costing of both finished goods and consigned materials
• Coordinate Ring and Amazon systems to maintain cross system data integrity
• Assist business requirements gathering for software integrations
• Ensure accurate master data setup in ERP and resolve mismatch across procurement / BOM management / warehouse and sales systems.
• Develop tools and guides for standard reporting definitions across teams and tools, allowing for consistent nomenclature in both ad-hoc and periodic reporting

Qualifications

• Accounting, finance, or related undergraduate degree.
• Understanding of contract manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of ERP system architecture and master data dependencies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
• Able to execute tasks in a very dynamic and ever-changing environment.
• Ability to effectively deal with high levels of uncertainty, ambiguity, and change.
• Communicate effectively with diverse customers and audiences across multiple disciplines.
