What You'll Do

• Serve as primary lead for all out-sourced audit engagements
• Perform in-house audits and/or ad-hoc reviews, as needed
• Maintain professional skepticism and objectivity when conducting in-house audit reviews
• Prepare audit reports
• Obtain management responses for open audit findings in a timely manner
• Assist with tracking of remediations
• Recording findings in audit tracker tool & monitor target dates for resolution / remediation
• Maintain all requests for extension on open audit findings, including sending for approval
• Maintain and file audit documentation, owner of the process, ensuring items are on file for each engagement
• Participate in Audit Committee meetings, as needed
• Assist Head of Internal Audit, as needed

What You'll Bring

• 2-3 years experience working in an internal audit role and demonstrating professionalism, growth, and trustworthiness
• Demonstrated investment and excellence in formal or informal learning and development, equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree
• Ability to maintain professional skepticism and objectivity 
• A functional understanding of banking and investment products
• Prior experience working in a financial institution or fintech
• Strong project management and analytical skills
• Ability to maintain professional skepticism and objectivity 
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities quickly 
• Effective communication skills
