We are looking for an Analyst to join a diverse Analytics team responsible for driving product and business strategy through measurement, experimentation, and causal inference. In this role, you will help empower and enable a data-informed culture by sourcing data, creating impactful analyses, and building automated data products. Our centralized team works with various departments on multiple projects, and this role initially focuses on Marketing, Product, and Consumer insights projects.
What You’ll Do:
- Use a scripting language (e.g., SQL, Python, R) to find, extract, manipulate, and clean data for use in building visualizations, reports, and analyses
- Identify and analyze patterns and trends in data to make specific recommendations on business actions
- Build and publish data sources and interactive visualizations in Tableau that can be used by non-technical business users in a self-service manner to answer questions, identify trends, and download clean datasets for further use
- Build exploratory visualizations in Tableau (or other platforms) that can be used as part of your analyses to highlight trends, answer detailed questions, and provide insights
- Run and interpret statistical tests, with guidance, as part of an analysis
- Understand the high-level architecture of the data stack and use AWS and other engineering tools to write exploratory data processing and storage pipelines
- Write and present clear summaries of analyses with engaging visualizations of data and specific, actionable recommendations to business stakeholders
- Explain the output of complex data manipulation and statistical tests to business stakeholders
- Provide support to the Marketing and Product teams, by creating and analyzing datasets, designing single/multi-channel (email, paid, mobile push, etc.) A/B tests in a cross-functional setting, developing measurement methodologies, and delivering insights and optimization recommendations
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or another quantitative field
- 2+ years experience in a related analytical role
- Strong knowledge and ability to leverage SQL queries to surface data from source systems and build reports
- Experience in delivering impactful insights and data visualization using Tableau or other data reporting tools (Looker, PowerBI, etc.)
- Excellent communicator and interest in leading projects
- Experience working with Python, R, or similar languages for data analysis desired
- Experience in subscription e-commerce, marketing, product, consumer insights or related domains desired
