Overview
Responsible for underwriting credit reviews for new Correspondent and Warehouse Lending clients and for the regular monitoring of approved clients.
Job Description

• Credit review and analysis of prospective and approved mortgage companies and financial institutions
• Due Diligence reviews that include analysis of delinquency reporting, policy and procedures, legal structure
• Comprehensive credit write ups for counterparty approval recommendation
• Monthly monitoring to ensure clients are performing as expected
• Annual recertification of clients to ensure they meet the requirements to maintain approval status
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
• Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

• Ability to analyze financial statements and effectively prepare written analyses
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Working knowledge of mortgage company operating structures preferred
• Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word
• Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently
• Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment
• Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
• Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management
