Analyst, 3PL Services
Job Summary:
3PL Services Analyst supports the Manager of 3PL Services in managing and implementing all overseas 3PL operations for iHerb Logistics. This position is responsible for daily tracking of smooth operations of overseas 3PL FCs and continuously identifying the areas of improvement by evaluating the processes of all aspects of 3PL operations. 3PL Services Analyst will closely monitor the 3PL FCs’ performances against SLA guidelines and ensure all 3PL FCs perform at the required level per SLA. This position will create various KPI reports and review with the Manager and Director of 3PL Services during the regularly scheduled meetings. Working cross-functionally with various teams including Planning, Marketing, Warehouse Operations, Finance, Engineering, and Legal, the 3PL Services Analyst strives to bring all overseas 3PL operations to their maximum efficiencies and successes.
Job Expectations:
Under the guidance of the manager of 3PL Services, executes the implementation of overseas 3PL operations with 3rd party vendors
Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted according to standard operating procedures and performs at SLA required levels or higher
Meet inventory control targets and accuracy by working with the inventory management team
Pull and report data from database using Excel and other data management systems and to perform and ad hoc reporting and analysis as required
Develop methods and models for more efficient and effective data analysis process
Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics system, imports or exports or customs issues
Support continuous improvement projects and initiatives
Serve as an effective liaison among other functional departments to define, plan, and execute projects to add capabilities, increase efficiency, and improve the performance of iHerb’s unique supply chain
Facilitate project meetings using meeting management best practices to drive cross-functional communication
Ensure 3PL project team activities and decisions are clearly communicated, documented, and archived
Provide an accurate weekly report detailing 3PL performance, unit trends in and out and the overall weekly performance and operational cost

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Required:
Excellent analytical and organization skills and ability to multitask
Project management experience required (PMP, Six Sigma, Lean, etc.)
Experience working with top tier third-party logistics providers
Experience in transportation concepts: pricing strategy/analytics, forecasting, freight forwarding, planning, optimization
Strong analytic ability and communication skills in warehouse and supply chain processes
Strong background in Excel based reporting
Experience in and understanding of Closed Loop Metrics (Tableau)
Experience with ERP system(s)
Equipment Knowledge:
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred
Experience Requirements:
Generally, requires three (3) years of Supply Chain Execution, Warehouse Management, and Inventory Control or managing 3PL operations. Experience working with top tier third-party logistics providers preferred.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in logistics/supply chain or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
Judgment/Reasoning Ability: Able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment, poise and diplomacy. Ability to use judgment and reasoning skills, and determine when to escalate issues, as required, in a timely manner.

The Team Member is frequently required to sit, walk, climb stairs, use hands and fingers, bend, stoop and reach with hands and arms. The Team Member may occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 25 pounds. Proper lifting techniques required.
