With access to the latest tools, information and training, we’ll help you in advancing your skills and career. Here, you’ll be supported in progressing – whatever your ambitions.

About the role:

At Boston Scientific, we’re advancing the future of cardiac care. As part of our Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) division, you’ll contribute to life-saving innovations that treat irregular heart rhythms, heart failure, and help prevent sudden cardiac arrest. Our mission is to improve patient outcomes and quality of life through less-invasive, cutting-edge therapies—including implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), insertable cardiac monitorization systems (ICMs), and cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRTs).

With nearly two decades of innovation and clinical leadership, Boston Scientific is globally recognized as a trusted leader in Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM). As a Territory Manager, you’ll represent a portfolio of these life-changing technologies in a defined geographic region—developing strong clinical partnerships, driving strategic sales, and supporting procedures that directly improve patients’ lives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drive sales by scheduling and conducting calls with current and prospective customers to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and unit targets
  • Develop and execute strategic, data-informed territory sales plans based on product positioning, market competition, and customer needs
  • Engage hospital personnel and physicians through consultative conversations to understand procedural volume, product usage, and unmet needs—and align Boston Scientific solutions accordingly
  • Resolve product-related issues and service concerns through innovative thinking and collaboration with internal teams such as marketing, pricing, and clinical research
  • Expand access and visibility by developing strong relationships across hospital departments, including identifying key purchasing influencers and decision-makers
  • Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations that educate clinicians and support the adoption of our CRM technologies
  • Oversee and manage clinical resources to support device implants, programming, troubleshooting, and follow-up care across the territory
  • Provide direct support during device implants in hospital labs and operating rooms, followed by ongoing engagement to ensure long-term patient and customer satisfaction

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent clinical or sales experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in medical device or pharmaceutical field sales
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to confidently explain and support complex product solutions
  • Willingness to participate in a 24/7/365 rotational call schedule with the sales team
  • Flexibility to work variable hours and complete an extensive onboarding and training program

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or MBA
  • Experience in structural heart, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, or related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in medical device or pharmaceutical field sales
  • Prior experience supporting cardiovascular device implantation

Requisition ID: 629515

The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be $60,000 plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
