We are currently seeking an incomparable Controller who will be responsible for directing our corporate accounting activities, policies, reporting and financial close process for our growing business.

What You'll Do

• Develop scalable accounting operations, financial reporting processes, and comprehensive policies and procedures to ensure proper internal controls and compliance
• Direct the monthly accounting close for multiple entities including full and partial consolidations
• Oversee all aspects of accounting operations: AP, AR, Cash Management, Payroll, Tax, and general accounting
• Drive month end, quarter end and year end closes and oversee internal and external reporting
• Hire, train and mentor staff in accounting and finance related issues, including technical accounting GAAP guidance. Monitor bandwidth and assign tasks and responsibilities
• Review contracts in regards to financial reporting and tax matters
• Identify and implement process improvements and simplification initiatives
• Oversee and coordinate annual audits with external auditors
• Design dashboards to provide transparency on important KPIs

What You'll Bring

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
• 8+ years of relevant accounting experience and previous Controller or Assistant Controller duties, with strong career progression
• CPA and public accounting experience required, tax and M&A account knowledge a plus
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting
• Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiastic personality
• Experience working with external partners including investors, auditors, financial advisors
• Established and detail orientated self-starter with experience working in a hands-on environment
