The Marketing Team:
The Ruggable Marketing Team is collaborative and dynamic with clear growth targets. Working closely with the Design, Operations, Product and Executive teams, the team aims to elevate our brand status and broaden our customer appeal. We learn fast to adapt to the ever-changing e-commerce landscape.
Job Summary:
We’re seeking a full-time video editor to join our in-house production team. The video editor will produce high-quality content within an accelerated time frame. The role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented video editor with expert knowledge of Premiere Pro and After Effects. The ideal candidate is a self-starter that enjoys working on a team, has the ability to multitask with a positive attitude, and doesn’t require supervision to stay on task working in a remote setting. Ruggable is based in Gardena, CA, but this is a remote position that will require a 9 am - 5 pm PST work schedule.
What You’ll Do:
- Edit video ads and animate graphics for videos across social, YouTube, OTT, and other paid media channels
- Fulfill a high volume of video ad requests each week, and bring a creative spark to each asset that is requested
- Make creative decisions based on the direction and feedback from multiple sources
- Learn brand guidelines and reliably stick to those when editing
- Occasionally take on special projects and grow as a video professional
What You'll Need to Have:
Required:
- 5+ years Premiere Pro and After Effects work at an in-house brand or creative agency, specifically someone who has experience in social ads
- Expert level knowledge of Premiere Pro and After Effect. Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lumetri Color
- Ability to work in a fast-paced/high-volume environment
- Current knowledge and skills on editing styles and Adobe releases
- A team player attitude that is eager to look for ways to improve our editing process
- Knows how to play inside the guidelines of a brand
- Is a talented storyteller who can work efficiently and asks questions
