UX Writer Manager

We’re looking for a UX Writer Manager to join Snap. Inc!
What You’ll Do
Manage and mentor 2-3 UX writers
Collaborate with fellow leads to set strategy for the Design team
Drive strategy and planning for UX Writing
Keep our writing clear, consistent, human-and Snappy
Foster cohesive content design across products and platforms (web, Spectacles, mobile)
Work closely with product design, research, brand, engineering, product, and marketing partners
Organize and Prioritize projects and tasks against larger strategy goals for your team
Educate and Evangelize UX writing as a discipline across Snap inc.
Drive Strategy and Write copy for strategically important projects
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Ability to write clearly and coherently
Skilled at coaching writers in their craft and career goals
Skilled at developing and improving processes, scoping and prioritizing projects
Ability to gracefully give, interpret, and respond to feedback
Embraces opportunities to work with cross-functional peers
Able to create a shared vision and ways to support it (forest and trees)
Helping your team keep an eye on the big picture (forest, not just trees)
Modeling maturity and work-life balance
Ability to define and lead independently in a large ambiguous space
Excellent interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail
Knowledge of the AP Style
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years writing or editorial experience
2+ years managing people and initiatives
1+ years of building editorial styles or language systems
A portfolio of UX writing (please send with your application)
Preferred Qualifications
Copy editing experience
Experience writing for an ESL audience
Experience in Advertising or Messaging ecosystems.
Has used Snap
Experience with Blind Accessibility readouts for buttons
