About the role: 

We are looking for a seasoned Sr. Live Operations Producer to create and nurture the Live Operations discipline at Zwift. 

The charter of Live Operations is equal parts Release Management and Live Events. You will coordinate many efforts across the entire organization that ensure the availability and quality of experiences in Zwift.

What you'll do:

• Own Release Management practices for the Product Development organization, ensuring consistent, reliable versioning of applications and services across software development teams
• Foster deep partnerships across the organization including Product Development, Creative, Customer Support, Broadcast, Marketing, and Infrastructure, ensuring that each group has the insight they need to deliver against releases and live events
• Quantitatively measure operational success in releases of software, and create reporting to visualize trends over time in partnership with Engineering, QA, Program Management, and Product Management
• Evolve visualization of the state of the live environment and related services, and leverage it to increase awareness and improve collaboration across the organization
• Schedule and facilitate recurring checkpoints at an appropriate cadence depending upon the proximity of key live events and the degree of coordination required
• Communicate the status of releases and live event support activities across the organization

What we’re looking for:

• Deep applied expertise in Live Operations practices and at least 5 years of experience supporting live games
• Knowledge of how to integrate release management and live operations support into cross-functional teams using agile and lean development approaches
• Demonstrable experience with supporting live operations within a distributed development organization
• Experience managing, mentoring, and growing teams of Release Management and Live Operations professionals
