We are looking for a seasoned production executive to oversee the production of premium, short-form content for daily essentials.

What You'll Do:

  • Engage with Creative, Finance, Legal, Business and Legal Affairs, Product, Strategy, Post and external partners (domestic and international) to ensure production of high quality daily content across multiple genres (news, lifestyle, sports etc.) is delivered on time and on budget as creatively envisioned
  • Work closely, collaboratively and professionally with external partners to vet budgets and schedules across a high-volume slate with multiple shows in simultaneous phases of production; evaluate risk and liability
  • Forecast, track and manage budget costs and timelines; review and approve cash flows and cost reports
  • Liaise between Quibi and external partners to facilitate communication, troubleshoot issues and resolve problems
  • Work strategically and in collaboration with internal teams to build, improve and maintain internal and external processes, workflows, policies and systems
  • Ensure succinct, efficient and timely communication between external partners and internal teams regarding all aspects of production, schedules and deadlines

What You'll Need:

  • Ability to manage and motivate a small team
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of relevant hands-on executive experience in physical production on daily programming (news, sports, lifestyle) 
  • Experience on the buyer and seller side of production (i.e. Production Company and Studio, Network or Streaming Platform etc.)
  • Experience with end-to-end multi-platform production with a level of technical understanding of digital delivery/post
  • Familiarity with all phases of production for topical, daily and evergreen productions 
  • Knowledge of best practices for physical production across the industry and abroad
  • Strong track record of solving complex problems, strategic thinking and delivering impact as an Executive
  • Enthusiastic team player, able to communicate succinctly, emanate calm and remain focused in a high pressure, ambiguous environment
  • Ability to work efficiently across all levels of management, talent, crew and staff; proven track record of successfully managing a team in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Adept at anticipating potential issues, identifying problems, recommending and implementing solutions; escalating as needed
  • Ability to nurture and maintain strong industry relationships; foster and build new relationships
  • Must be proficient with Movie Magic Budgeting, Google sheets and Docs, G-Drive, Google Slides, Google Mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Airtable
  • Flexibility for domestic and international travel as needed; ability to work across multiple time zones
  • Vendor and crew relationships in New York, LA and internationally, a plus
  • Relevant work experience in live television a plus
