Opportunity
As a (LA BASED) Production Assistant within the Content Team at Route you will be primarily responsible for assisting the Head Creative Producer with the execution of productions from A-Z - with your main focus being on LA based projects while assisting the Head Creative Producer with various other projects. Assisting with all the logistics that help bring a project together. Creating and communicating daily status reports on open projects to the Head Creative Producer. Assisting in the coordination between the Experience team, the Marketing team and the Content Team to prepare for production. Everything you do is focused on building processes, clearly communicating what steps need to be taken in order for the project to keep moving forward and helping create content that is truly jaw-dropping. As a Production Assistant you will be wearing a bunch of hats, you will need to be operations and deal-driven. You will need to be very self-driven/willing to take initiative and need to take multiple tasks all the way to the finish line on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the managing the logistics of pre-production in all its forms: scheduling, booking (locations, talent), communicating with talent/partners, bringing on and managing contractors, coordinating with the creative team on concept/production needs.
- Assist in building out budgets for productions.
- Assist in communicating with partners and brands before, during and after production.
- Encourage the use of established systems within the content team.
- Assist in developing shooting schedules and any other production needs.
- Project management from start to finish.
- Assisting in cross-departmental communication (you will work with Talent, Experience, Finance and many other departments on a weekly basis)
Qualifications
- Confidence but NO Ego
- 3 years experience with project management.
- Experience in the Creative Realm (Photography/videography/etc.)
- Can-do attitude. Solution focused thinking.
- Proven track record of managing and working with different departments and individuals.
- Excellent business communicator and people person.
- A strong understanding of the power of video and its role in helping support the growth of Route.
- Experience in and exposure to film production.
- Excellent attention to detail, oral, written and presentation skills, confident communicator with an aptitude for storytelling.
- Strategic thinker that can see the big picture, innovate and adapt to constant change.
