UpKeep Maintenance Management is looking for a Product & Content Marketing Manager to join the team. This role will be critical for increasing brand awareness and establishing our app product as the leader in the space. To do so, it’s critical that a) new product features are positioned and promoted in ways that drive interest and engagement b) no stone is left unturned in finding ways to generate press, build communities on social, and increase site traffic (and in turn, SEO) with content marketing that resonates.

In this role, you will: 
Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to identify the best areas of opportunity, whether it’s building the right press/media relationships or determining what topic areas should guide the content strategy. 
Take the lead in managing our content calendar and find innovative ways to package content and product releases across multiple mediums (blogs, e-books, social postings, webinars, press releases, and whatever else you can bring to the table!) 
Leverage product meta-data and customer surveys to generate thought leadership pieces on the maintenance management industry.

Help further verticalize our site and landing pages to target key industries that are experiencing the most user growth. This will include expanding customer success stories, video testimonials, and establishing relationships with associations and publications to elevate/endorse the brand. 
Own social media engagement and listening and have goals for increasing followership.

Work closely with our awesome Customer Success team to turn happy customers into brand advocates and drive positive reviews across key sites. 
Partner with the marketing team to create personalized, relevant experiences across the entire acquisition and retention lifecycle.

Run and compile snapshots on what our main competitors in the space are doing.

You are a strong candidate if you have: 
2 - 5 years of experience in PR, content marketing, social media management and/or product marketing -- background with a tech or app product a huge plus!

Exceptional writing skills is the cornerstone of this job, but equally important is being able to build relationships with customers and outside contacts and adapt the writing style to tailor to a particular audience and medium 
Have a passion for audience research and testing unique, original ways to drive online engagement

Can be self-managed and resourceful, but comfortable problem solving cross-functionally and integrating feedback from customer success, product, and our CEO into marketing initiatives

Familiarity with web analytics, social listening tools, and content management platforms required - KPIs and measurement will be tied to your efforts 
Bachelor’s degree required
