The Role


Job Summary & Responsibilities:

The Post Production Producer (Full Time, Salary) will assist/enforce the day-to-day and overall workflow of Post Production within assigned projects and shows.  Essential duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Managing the post-production workflow and crew for all assigned shows including but not limited to scheduling and overseeing sound mixing, editing and other post-production processes
  • Coordinating with Production team to develop the post-production timeline for all assigned shows
  • Posting content online for client review as well as delivering raw and finished content to clients and/or trafficking outlets
  • Working with freelancers on best practices, department workflow and techniques for assigned shows.
  • Understanding and following all proper editorial procedures and organizational standards including but not limited to proper archival process, server organization, naming conventions, standard review/delivery specifications, etc.
  • Assisting in organization of finished projects for archiving.
  • Assisting in all department-wide operations as needed.


Supervisory Responsibility:

  • This position will not include supervising one or more employees where applicable.

 

Education/Experience:

  • 2-4 years previous experience in video/television post-production, or equivalent education and experience


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong command or project details, self-motivated and excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Baseline understanding, interest, or experience in the automotive industry a plus


Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to sit for prolonged period of time and view computer screen.


Equipment/Software Used:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in Google Calendar and Drive
  • Experience with non-linear editing systems, especially Avid Media Composer a plus


Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in an office environment that is well lit and ventilated.
