Insights Lead, Content Strategy & Audience Development
We’re looking for an Insights Lead to join Team Snapchat! You will work across all of our content formats - including Shows, Publisher Stories, and Our Stories - to identify and evaluate new opportunities and to shape our overall Content strategy. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you’ll help to perform impactful analysis, develop and communicate recommendations that will determine the future of Content on Snapchat.
What you'll do:
Short and long-term strategic planning for Snapchat’s Content business
Conduct quantitative analysis of content consumption on Snapchat to determine best practices and growth opportunities
Translate insights into valuable product and business recommendations
Develop and package recommendations for communication to Snapchat senior leadership
Partner with the Business Development, Content Product, and Creative Teams to identify and implement new opportunities
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
3+ years experience in management consulting, investment banking, or in an analyst/strategy role at a consumer tech or media company
Significant experience in scripting with SQL and extracting large sets of data
Preferred qualifications
Master's degree in a quantitative field such as; Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Sciences preferred
Experience with the following additional tools/languages: Excel, R/Python, PowerPoint, Tableau or other visualization tools
Knowledge of statistical analysis
Prior experience with digital media
Ability to consolidate findings and communicate analysis to editorial team in an easy to understand manner
Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
Intellectual curiosity and great business judgement
Strong written and visual communication skills
Have an open mind to pick up new analytical techniques as required
High degree of attention to detail
