Coordinator, Licensing & Synchronization

How we LEAD:
UMG is looking for a dynamic Coordinator to provide support to the Senior Vice President of Film & TV Synch for the UMG East Coast record labels - Republic, Island, Def Jam, and Verve.
The ideal candidate is obsessively detailed, pro-active, has a knack for problem-solving and a "can do" attitude. Passion for music, entrepreneurial spirit, polished professional demeanor, and the ability to keep calm under pressure are musts.
How you'll CREATE:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Calendar management
- Coordinate with A+R teams for audio assets and manage the team's library
- Assist clients with publishing splits, label copy, and audio requests
- Tracking and follow up of pending syncs, air dates, and confirmations
- Coordinating artist events and listening sessions
- Covering phone lines, partnering with other assistants as needed
- Creative support on music briefs
- Meeting of guests and help with general queries
- Special project coordination requiring follow up and meeting of deadlines
- Represent the sync team at various events and concerts
- Additional duties as assigned
- Hire and manage department interns
- Extensive travel and meeting coordination
Bring your VIBE:
- 1-2 years of sync, music supervision, marketing, or admin experience
- Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with employees of the company at all levels including Executive Management
- Strong passion for film & television and extensive knowledge of all genres of music
- Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with external partners and clients
- Possess strong attention to detail, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
- Proactive in determining roadblocks
- Ability to work under high pressure and speed
- Great social and interpersonal skills
- Ability to keep information highly confidential
- Flexible and able to multi-task
