Overview and Responsibilities: 
Our Programming Team is looking for a Channel Editor to support reality and music content. This person will be responsible for following pre-programmed channel strategies in order to build out the some of the 100+channels on Pluto TV! This role that reports to the Sr Programming Manager. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to learn proprietary program scheduling software for the role. 


Specific responsibilites include, but not limited to:

  • Build episodes in our proprietary Content Management System (CMS)
  • Schedule pre-programmed live stream and episodic channels
  • Track and input data used for programming decisions
  • Understand the workflows and completing tasks within the CMS, catalog review process, and life-cycle of content


Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of programming or related media experience
  • Proficient with Excel (pivots, charts, lookups)


Additional Qualifications: 

  • Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of and interest in the entertainment media landscape
  • Familiarity with reality TV and music in pop culture
  • General understanding of databases and how it plays into programming strategy
