At Signpost, we’re on a mission to reshape how home service businesses run their day-to-day. For most pros, communication and back-office work get in the way of actually doing the job — leading to missed opportunities and stalled growth.

We help home service providers stay responsive, organized, and connected with their customers, so they can focus on the work that matters.

We’re looking for a Content Marketing Manager who can turn our mission, customer insights, and product strengths into compelling content that drives demand, builds trust, and positions Signpost as the go-to communications and operations partner for home service pros.

Who You Are
  • A strategic storyteller who can produce clear, compelling content across the entire funnel.
  • Someone who understands how to craft narratives that attract, educate, and convert busy home service pros.
  • A creator who’s equally comfortable writing, editing, planning, and optimizing.
  • A cross-functional partner who loves collaborating with Product, Sales, and CS to turn insights into high-impact content.
  • A builder who can help shape a scalable content engine inside a fast-moving, growing company.
What You’ll Do
  • Own the end-to-end content strategy across blog, website, email, social, ads, webinars, and downloadable resources.
  • Produce full-funnel content that supports awareness, conversion, and customer activation.
  • Collaborate with product to create messaging and content for product launches, campaigns, and new initiatives.
  • Build SEO-driven content that grows organic reach and brings in qualified traffic.
Desirable Experience
  • Content Marketing: 5+ years in SaaS companies or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Full-Funnel Content Creation: Blogs, landing pages, guides, scripts, email, and social.
  • SEO & Organic Growth: Keyword research, search intent, and on-page optimization.
  • Industry Familiarity: Experience with SMB, home services, martech, or communications tools is a plus.
  • Startup Mentality: Comfortable iterating quickly and building structure as you go.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to partner effectively with Product, Sales, and CS.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
