Job Responsibilities :

The Community Content Specialist is a junior, creator‑driven role built for someone who lives and breathes social—especially short‑form video. You’ll be hands‑on from start to finish, coming up with ideas, filming, producing, and editing scroll‑stopping content made for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Being comfortable on camera is a must, as you’ll may regularly appear in Razer’s social videos and help bring the brand’s personality to life in an authentic, fun, and relatable way. You’ll collaborate closely with the Community and Influencer teams and support broader marketing initiatives, helping turn trends, moments, and ideas into content that drives real engagement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the Razer marketing teams, including the Community team in creating short-form social media content that supports the overall engagement strategy.

  • Coordinate, create/film and edit video content, which includes short- or long-form video, including any associated content needs such as event coverages/livestreams.

  • Manage an up-to-date calendar of social content/production schedule with regular stakeholder communications to ensure timely delivery

  • Manage day-to-day communications on the short-form video channels of Razer (For example: Instagram, YouTube and TikTok) to grow the engagement and size of these channels exponentially. This includes routine housekeeping, moderation, conflict resolution and enforcing of community house rules.

  • Conduct ongoing analysis and reporting of owned social media (and external channels) to provide industry/landscape insights as well as recommend suggestions for improvement when it comes to content

  • Help coordinate social media content efforts with different marketing teams globally.

  • Perform ad-hoc department administrative duties as required

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • 1-2 years of experience in video content development and production management

  • 1 year of social media management experience

  • Great organizational skills with a strong attention to detail 

  • Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency

  • Understanding of social media best practices, relevant industry trends, online marketing, and engagement techniques.  

  • Experience in the use of social media management and analytical tools/software and editorial content calendaring.  

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on generating business results. 

  • Ability to work with global teams across multiple time zones and cultures. 

  • Must be comfortable in front of the camera.

  • Gamer and gaming knowledge is required. 

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Film/Video/Television Production, Communications, Marketing or Digital Media or equivalent work experience. 

Pre-Requisites :

Salary Ranges (per annum):

$39,000.00 - $65,000.00
